Natasha Bird

Born 1985, St. Albans, UK. Lives and works in London.

Natasha Bird is an artist based in London. Current work is concerned with aspects of city water infrastructures, ideas of flow and stagnation and their potential for production; and how these relate to the experience of being a body inside a system. A graduate of the MFA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, exhibitions include Echo System at Thames-Side Gallery, Earth Eaters curated by Cole Projects, Moloko Plus Six at the Lakeside Centre, Thamesmead, and The Polder as a Cyborg, at Cultureland in Amsterdam.  Alongside her sculptural practice, she facilitates workshops for children and young people exploring sculpture, installation, and animation at schools and galleries including South London Gallery and Milton Keynes Gallery.
