An artwork for Goldie Leigh
I am excited to have been commissioned to help create a co-produced digitally printed artwork inhabiting two disused buildings on the Goldie Leigh Site. Background images of microscopic natural finds, and archival maps will be overlaid with high quality digital images of collages and clay objects created by staff, service users, and local people. I hope that this giant artwork will bring the buildings alive - promoting access to nature, co-created by the people that use this unique site.
I am a multi-disciplinary artist, working across digital collage, print, sculpture and inclusive collaborative workshops. Recent works include ‘Outfall’ - a reading/digestion space for Crossness Pumping Station. My work spans sculpture, drawing, zine making, radio broadcast and animation. I facilitate workshops for children and young people, co-producing collaborative artworks together over a session or number of sessions. I am based in Plumstead, less than a mile from Goldie Leigh, with my studio at Thames-Side Studios, Woolwich.
